history

The company was originally founded on March 8, 1993 under the name Laus Air - Tourism & Air Transport Services Ltd. ( Laus Air - Zracni Prijevoz doo ) was founded as a flight agent in Zagreb . In June 1996 the company received an Air Operator Certificate for cargo and passenger flights as well as route rights between Zagreb (Croatia) and Ljubljana ( Slovenia ).

Initially, the company did not start operations with its own aircraft, but instead commissioned the Hungarian Farnair Europe to carry out its flights. In November 2000, Laus Air rented a Let L-410UVP-E from Farnair Europe , which enabled the transport of cargo or up to 17 passengers. The aircraft was operated mainly in wet lease for United Parcel Service on cargo flights. In addition, there were occasional passenger charter flights within Croatia and to neighboring countries. In 2004, Laus Air ceased flight operations.
