history

Let L-410UVP-E off Trade Air in 2009

Trade Air was founded in April 1994 by the owner Mihajlo Cvijin and began flight operations on May 22, 1995.

In 1999 they bought an optionally as a passenger or cargo aircraft usable Let L-410 . Another two machines of this type were integrated into the fleet in summer 2000. Since 2005 charter flights have been carried out with the Fokker 100s bought in 2004 under the brand name SunAdria . The two Fokker 100s are temporarily also in wet lease for other airlines, such as Croatia Airlines and Equatorial Congo Airlines .

In the summer of 2013, Trade Air received an order from the Croatian Ministry of Transport and then used a leased Embraer EMB 120 in scheduled services between Osijek and Zagreb as well as Rijeka, Split and Dubrovnik. The aircraft was replaced by a leased Airbus A320-200 in May 2016 .

In January 2017, the company rented one of its two Fokker 100s to the French airline Hop!

Destinations

Trade Air specializes in cargo and charter flights , which it operates on behalf of cargo companies and tour operators . It has also been running regular services between cities within Croatia since 2013.
