Sandra Lawson (born April 22, 1976 in Vienna ) is a bassist from Austria .

biography

From 1989 to 1992 Lawson studied guitar with Konrad Schrenk at the Gumpoldskirchen Music School (now the Joe Zawinul Music School ) in Lower Austria . In addition, she gained her first experience as a rhythm guitarist and singer in various bands. She switched from guitar to electric bass and began studying jazz at the Vienna Conservatory in 2003 .

This was followed by engagements in the live bands of numerous musicians, including Adi Hirschal & Wolfgang Böck ( Best of Strizzis ), Anik Kadinski , Beckermeister , Boris Bukowski , Celia Mara , Colors ´n´ People feat. Stella Jones , Eddie Cole , Gernot Pachernigg , Harri Stojka , Illuminati Groove Project , La Funk , Manfred Holub , Mongo Stojka , Mozartband , Peter Cornelius , Prince Zeka System & Dunia Moja, Willi Resetarits , the Vienna Soul Society feat. Big John , SheSays and Andreas Gabalier .

At the same time, she worked as a studio musician with, among others, Cinderella , Beckermeister, Harri Stojka, Luttenberger * Klug , the Mike Otis Project and on productions such as the Kiddy Contest and the benefit CD Never give up for Austrian muscle research.
