Claudine Mueller
Claudine Müller (* 27. February 1980 in Liestal ) is a Swiss athlete , referring to the heptathlon specializes.
Career
Claudine Müller starts for the BSC Old Boys Basel club , where she is trained by Christian Oberer. Her favorite disciplines are the 100-meter hurdles and long jump , her weakest discipline is the 800-meter run . Claudine Müller won her first title at the Swiss Indoor Championships in 2004 in the pentathlon . In 2005 she defended this title and also became the free Swiss champion in the long jump. In 2006 she won the Swiss indoor pentathlon championships for the third time in a row. In 2007, a tenth place at the Summer Universiade in Bangkok was her best result. In 2008 she became Swiss indoor champion in the 60-meter hurdles . In 2009 she won the Swiss pentathlon indoor championships for the fourth time. In the open air she increased her best performance in the heptathlon at the Götzis all- around meeting to 5879 points and remained just 13 points below the norm for the World Championships in Berlin . In August she won the heptathlon title for the first time at the Swiss all-around championships in Aarau . After these successes, she was named Basel Sportswoman of the Year 2009.
Claudine Müller is a trained sports scientist and works in the secretariat of the department for sports education and social sciences , and as a track and field lecturer at the Institute for Sports and Sports Science at the University of Basel . She also works as a youth athletics trainer. She is 1.78 m tall and her competition weight is 62 kg.
