Lava lava

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

A lava-lava is a man 's skirt that is traditionally worn in Polynesia , especially Samoa . It is very similar to the sarong and pareo from South Asia and the longyi from Myanmar , so that the names are sometimes used synonymously. There are also similarities to the Kikoi in East Africa and the Belted Plaid in Scotland .
