Lawrence Borha (born July 5, 1984 in Staten Island , New York ) is an American basketball player . After his college days in the NCAA he played two seasons in Europe, the first of which at the German first division club Paderborn Baskets , where he could not assert himself and which he left after the club's relegation from the first division. Borha most recently played in his hometown for the Vipers in the minor league ABA .

Career

Borha began his career at the University of Utah on the Utah Utes team . In his last season there he averaged 11.7 points and caught 3.4 rebounds per game. After four years at college, he switched to the 2009/2010 season as a professional for the Paderborn Baskets in the basketball league, which he left after only one season. During this time he played an average of almost 13 minutes per game, in which he averaged 3.1 points. After another season at Landstede from Zwolle in the 2010/11 season, where he was able to produce an average of 14.4 points in a good 30 minutes of playing time per game in the less prestigious Dutch premier league , he returned to his home country.
