The Lawrence Channel is a strait off the Loubet coast of Graham Land on the Antarctic Peninsula . The channel runs in a north-south direction between the Arrowsmith Peninsula and the upstream Wyatt Island and connects the open part of the Laubeuf Fjord with the Hinks Channel .
The UK Antarctic Place-Names Committee named him in 1984 after Stuart James Lawrence (* 1944), captain of the ship Bransfield in service for the British Antarctic Survey from 1974.
