Lawrence Frederik Schott

Lawrence Frederik Schott (born July 26, 1907 in Philadelphia , Pennsylvania , USA ; † March 11, 1963 ) was auxiliary bishop in Harrisburg .

Life

Lawrence Frederik Schott received on 15 July 1935, the sacrament of Holy Orders .

On March 1, 1956, Pope Pius XII appointed him . as titular bishop of Eluza and auxiliary bishop in Harrisburg. The Bishop of Harrisburg, George Leo Leech , donated him episcopal ordination on May 1 of the same year ; Co- consecrators were the Bishop of Columbus , Michael Joseph Ready , and the Bishop of Paterson , James Aloysius McNulty .

Schott attended the first session of the Second Vatican Council .
