Lawrence Joseph Riley (born September 6, 1914 in Boston , USA ; † December 2, 2001 ) was auxiliary bishop in Boston .
Life
Lawrence Joseph Riley received the sacrament of ordination for the Archdiocese of Boston on September 21, 1940 .
On December 7, 1971, Pope Paul VI appointed him . as titular bishop of Daimlaig and auxiliary bishop in Boston. The Archbishop of Boston, Humberto Sousa Medeiros , donated him episcopal ordination on February 2, 1972 ; Co-consecrators were the auxiliary bishops in Boston, Thomas Joseph Riley and Jeremiah Francis Minihan .
On January 22, 1990, Pope John Paul II accepted Lawrence Joseph Riley's age-related resignation.
