Lawrence Khai Saen-Phon-On ( Thai : ล อ เร น ซ์ คาย น์ แสน พล อ่อน ; * August 17, 1928 in Ban Thung-Mon , Sakon Nakhon County , northeastern Thailand (the so-called Isan - บ้าน ทุ่ง ม น ตำบล เชียง เครือ อำเภอ เมือง จังหวัด สกลนคร ); † July 24, 2007 ) was Archbishop of the Archdiocese of Thare and Nonseng ( Archidioecesis Tharensis et Nonsengensis , อัคร สังฆมณฑล ท่า แร่ - หนอง แสง ) in Sakon Nakhon in Thailand.
Life
Lawrence Khai Saen-Phon-On was ordained a priest on January 16, 1957 in Tha Rae ( ท่า แร่ - mostly written Thare ). On March 6, 1980, he was appointed Archbishop of Thare and Nonseng by John Paul II and consecrated on July 16 by his predecessor Michel Kien Samophithak . In 2004 his resignation was granted by John Paul II.
