Lazarus You Heung-sik
Lazarus You Heung-sik ( Kor. 유흥식 , born November 17, 1951 in Nonsan , South Korea ) is a South Korean clergyman and Roman Catholic bishop of Daejeon .
Life
Lazarus You Heung-sik received on 9 December 1979, the sacrament of Holy Orders .
On 9 July 2003 appointed him Pope John Paul II. To Coadjutor Bishop of Daejeon. The Bishop of Daejeon, Joseph Kyeong Kap-ryong , donated him episcopal ordination on August 19 of the same year ; Co-consecrators were the auxiliary bishop in Suwon , Mathias Ri Iong-hoon , and the auxiliary bishop in Seoul , Joseph Lee Han-taek SJ . On April 1, 2005, Lazarus You Heung-sik became Bishop of Daejeon, succeeding Joseph Kyeong Kap-ryong, who resigned for reasons of age.
