Mathias Ri Long-hoon
Mathias Ri Iong-hoon ( Kor. 이용훈 , born September 13, 1951 in Kyoûng-ghi , South Korea ) is Bishop of Suwon .
Life
Mathias Ri Iong-hoon received on 6 March 1979, the sacrament of Holy Orders .
On 19 March 2003 appointed him Pope John Paul II. To the titular of Catabum Castra and ordered him to auxiliary bishop in Suwon. The retired Archbishop of Gwangju , Victorinus Youn Kong-hi , donated him episcopal ordination on May 14 of the same year ; Co- consecrators were the Bishop of Incheon , Boniface Choi Ki-san , and the Bishop of Suwon, Paul Choi Duk-ki . On October 10, 2008, Pope Benedict XVI appointed him . to coadjutor bishop of Suwon. Mathias Ri Iong-hoon became Bishop of Suwon on March 30, 2009, succeeding Paul Choi Duk-ki, who resigned for reasons of age.
