The Roman Catholic Diocese of Incheon ( lat. : Dioecesis Inchonensis , kor. : 천주교 인천 교구 ) is in South Korea location Roman Catholic diocese , based in Incheon .
history
The diocese of Incheon was on June 6, 1961 by Pope John XXIII. established with the Apostolic Constitution Coreanae nationis orae from cessions of territory of the Apostolic Vicariate Seoul as Apostolic Vicariate Inch'on . On March 10, 1962, the Vicariate Apostolic Inch'on by John XXIII. raised to a diocese with the Apostolic Constitution Fertile Evangelii and renamed the diocese of Incheon . It was subordinated to the Archdiocese of Seoul as a suffragan .
