Joseph Kyeong Cape Ryong
Joseph Kyeong Kap-ryong (born March 11, 1930 in Yongdungp'o , then the Japanese Empire , now South Korea ) is former bishop of Daejeon .
Life
Joseph Kyeong Kap-ryong was ordained a priest on August 23, 1959 and was incardinated in the clergy of the Archdiocese of Seoul . Pope Paul VI appointed him on February 3, 1977 auxiliary bishop in Seoul and titular bishop of Buffada .
The Archbishop of Seoul, Stephen Cardinal Kim Sou-hwan , ordained him bishop on March 25 of the same year ; Co- consecrators were Paul Marie Kinam Ro , Old Archbishop of Seoul, and Peter Hoang Min Syeng , Bishop of Daejeon .
Pope John Paul II appointed him Bishop of Daejeon on July 2, 1984. He resigned from his office on April 1, 2005.
