Lea Mornar (born November 9, 1972 in Split , SFR Yugoslavia ) is a Croatian actress and model .

Life

Mornar grew up in Split . In 1991 she had to leave her home country and lived in Rome until 1995 . There she began a successful modeling career that took her via Paris and London to Munich. Lea Mornar gained her first film experience through appearances in video clips of Suede and the Toten Hosen ( Bonnie & Clyde from the album Opium fürs Volk ). She played her first leading role in 1998 in Detlev Buck's film Liebe Deine Nachbar! . Her portrayal of Josefine earned her third place at the 1999 New Faces Award . Other roles in international film and cinema productions followed. She also played various roles in German-language television productions, including Polizeiruf 110 and SOKO Stuttgart .
