Leandro Pereira , full name Leandro Marcos Peruchena Pereira , (born July 3, 1991 in Araçatuba ) is a Brazilian football player . He is used in the position of a center forward.

Career

Pereira started his career at Ferroviária . He received his first professional assignment in 2012 when he was on loan from the | Mogi Mirim EC played. He made his debut on February 2, 2012 in the State Championship of São Paulo in 2012. In the away game against Palmeiras São Paulo he was substituted on in the 72nd minute.

In 2013, Pereira moved to Capivariano FC . With this he entered the state championship of São Paulo. At the beginning of the championship round, the club awarded ADRC Icasa to the B series . At the time he was still nicknamed Leandro Banana.

For the 2014 season, Pereira moved to Cianorte FC , who loaned him to Portuguesa directly for the games in the São Paulo state championship . Following the competition, Pereira also came on loan to Chapecoense , who was promoted to the Série A for the 2014 season .

In December 2014 it was announced that Pereira was moving to Palmeiras São Paulo . In August of that year the Belgian Club Bruges bought the player from Palmeiras . For 75% of the transfer rights, 5 million reals were paid, 50% to Palmeiras and 25% to investors. The remaining 25% stayed with investors. In the 2015/16 season , Pereira played 17 league games for Bruges and was able to celebrate the championship with the club. He didn't score a goal. After the season, Pereira returned to Palmeiras on loan. Pereira stayed here until the end of the year and was able to celebrate the 2016 championship with the club . In ten games he contributed two goals here. His loan to Sport Recife was announced in January 2017 .

After Pereira started the 2018 season with sport in the state championship, he came to the championship round on loan to Chapecoense , where he was already under contract in 2014.

On January 15, 2019, Bruges announced the move from Pereira to Japan . He signed with Matsumoto Yamaga FC . His journey continued in August 2019. He moved within Japan on loan to the Sanfrecce Hiroshima .
