NGC 921 is a spiral galaxy of Hubble type Sc in the constellation Cetus south of the ecliptic . It is estimated to be 305 million light years from the Milky Way and about 125,000 light years in diameter.
The object was discovered by Ormond Stone on January 6, 1886 .
