NGC 934 is an elliptical galaxy of Hubble type E / S0 in the constellation Cetus south of the ecliptic . It is estimated at 285 million light years from the Milky Way and has a diameter of about 105,000 ly.
In the same area of the sky are the galaxies NGC 926 , NGC 936 , NGC 941 .
The property was built in 1876 by the astronomer Wilhelm Tempel using a 28.3-cm - telescope discovered.
