NGC 915 is a lenticular galaxy of the Hubble type S0 in the constellation Aries on the ecliptic . It is an estimated 201 million light years away from the Milky Way and has a diameter of about 40,000 ly.
In the same area of ​​the sky are the galaxies NGC 903 , NGC 904 , NGC 916 , NGC 919 .

The object was on 5 September 1864 by the astronomer Albert Marth using a 48-inch - telescope discovered.
