NGC 906 is a barred spiral galaxy of the Hubble type SBab in the constellation Andromeda in the northern sky . It is estimated to be 215 million light years away from the Milky Way and has a diameter of around 110,000 ly.
In the same area of the sky are the galaxies NGC 909 , NGC 910 , NGC 911 , NGC 914 , among others .
The object was discovered on October 30, 1878 by Édouard Stephan .
