NGC 929 is a spiral galaxy of Hubble type Sa in the constellation Cetus south of the ecliptic . It is estimated to be 214 million light years away from the Milky Way and has a diameter of around 60,000 ly.
In the same area of the sky is the galaxy IC 224 .
The property was discovered by Frank Muller in 1886 .
