NGC 907 is a barred spiral galaxy with extensive star formation from Hubble type SBd in the constellation Cetus south of the ecliptic . It is around 72 million light years away from the Milky Way and has a diameter of around 40,000 ly. Together with NGC 899 and IC 223 , it forms the gravitationally bound galaxy trio KTS 16 .
The object was discovered by William Herschel on October 20, 1784 .
