NGC 903 is a lenticular galaxy of the Hubble type S0 in the constellation Aries north of the ecliptic . It is estimated to be 230 million light-years away from the Milky Way and has a diameter of about 35,000 ly. a. the galaxies NGC 904 , NGC 915 , NGC 916 , NGC 919 .
The object was on 13 December 1884 by the astronomer Edouard Stephan using a 80-cm - telescope discovered.
