Ledge Point is a place in the Wheatbelt region in the Australian state of Western Australia around 100 kilometers north of Perth . In 2016 the place had 240 inhabitants.

Ledge Point is on the west coast of Australia in the Gingin Shire . The place has about 8.4 kilometers of coastline on the Indian Ocean with an approximately 40 meter wide sandy beach.
Ledge Point is bordered by Lancelin to the north, Karakin to the east and Breton Bay to the south . To the west is the Indian Ocean .
Surname
The place name is derived from a small protrusion of the coast, which is in front of several rocks. For the first time this cliff were ( English ledge ) in 1875 marked on a map.
