Lee Dorman
Douglas Lee Dorman (* 15. September 1942 in St. Louis , Missouri ; † 21st December 2012 in Laguna Niguel , California ) was an American rock - bass player . From 1967 he worked in the group Iron Butterfly . With the group he recorded three studio albums: In-A-Gadda-Da-Vida (1968), Ball (1969) and Metamorphosis (1970). He later played with Captain Beyond . He also recorded three studio albums with the group: Captain Beyond (1972), Sufficiently Breathless (1973) and Dawn Explosion (1977).
