Lee James Stephen Hodson (born October 2, 1991 in Hertfordshire ) is a Northern Irish football player who plays in the position of center-back.

Career

society

From July 1, 2009, Hodson was under contract with Watford FC . From November 2012 to May 31, 2013 he was loaned to Brentford FC . After the loan ended, he moved to the Milton Keynes Dons in July 2013 . From February to May 2016, Hodson played on loan at FC Kilmarnock . After the loan, the Glasgow Rangers signed him .

National team

On November 17, 2010, he played his first international match for the Northern Irish national team against Morocco . He played his first competitive game in 2011 in the European Championship qualification. In the 2012/13 World Cup qualification, he was only a substitute player at first, but moved up to the team in the last four games. After that he was only used in friendly matches and in qualifying for the European Football Championship in France in 2016 he only sat on the bench once. Nevertheless, he was then included in the EM squad in Northern Ireland . He was one of the three field players who were not used in the tournament.
