Lee Jin-hyun (born August 26, 1997 ) is a South Korean soccer player .

Career

Lee went to Pocheol High School . He then attended Sungkyunkwan University .

In August 2017 he was awarded by his parent club Pohang Steelers to the Austrian Bundesliga club FK Austria Wien . He made his Bundesliga debut in the same month when he started against FC Admira Wacker Mödling on matchday six . In that 3-1 win, he scored the goal that made it 3-0. In the 89th minute he was replaced by Petar Gluhakovic .

After returning to Pohang, he made his K League 1 debut in July 2018 when he started against Gyeongnam FC . In the same month he scored his first goal in the South Korean top division in a 3-1 win against the Jeonnam Dragons .

National team

In 2015 Lee took part in the Granatkin Memorial in Russia with the South Korean U-17 team (born 1997) . In 2017 he played with the U-20 team at the World Cup , where South Korea lost to Portugal in the round of 16 .
