Lee Joon Gi (born April 17, 1982 in Busan ) is a South Korean actor .
biography
He started his career as a model. In 2001 he first appeared in a TV commercial for the So Basic Mode label. He made his first film appearance as a teenager in the South Korean series Nan Eotteokhae ( What Should I Do? ). He later played a minor role in the TV movie Star's Echo .
Lee Joon-ki became famous for the film The King and the Clown , which broke South Korea's box office records in 2005 and even replaced Taegukgi as the most-watched film in Korean history with over 12 million viewers.
The previously almost unknown actor has become a famous personality that is known all over South Korea. His next role was a supporting actor in the South Korean television series My Girl on SBS, where he starred with Park Si-yeon and big stars like Lee Da-hae and Lee Dong-wook .
