Lee Rocker
Lee Rocker (* 3. August 1961 on Long Iceland , New York as Leon printer ) is an American bassist.
He has been the bassist of the Stray Cats since 1979 , was a member of the band Phantom and Rocker & Slick alongside Slim Jim Phantom and Earl Slick between 1983 and 1986 and has also been a soloist since 1994.
On October 21, 1985 Rocker was next to musicians such as Eric Clapton , Ringo Starr and George Harrison guest at Carl Perkins , who recorded the television concert Blue Suede Shoes: A Rockabilly Session in the London "Limehouse Television Studios" .
In January 2011, Lee guest-starred twelve times as Jay Perkins, brother of longtime friend Carl Perkins, in the Broadway musical Million Dollar Quartet , which was inspired by the legendary recording session of December 4, 1956 at Sun Studios, Memphis. The session was an impromptu jam session by musicians Elvis Presley , Jerry Lee Lewis , Carl Perkins and Johnny Cash .
Rocker lives in Laguna Beach , California and New York City with his wife, Deborah, and two children .
