Lee Seung-ryul (born March 6, 1989 in Bucheon , South Korea ) is a former South Korean football player who played on the position of striker .

career

Lee Seung-Ryul started playing soccer for Shin-gal High School and joined Seoul FC in 2008 . In his first year as a professional player, he played a total of 31 matches in the K-League and the Hauzen Cup , scoring five goals, whereupon he was named K-League Young Player of the Year in 2008. In 2010 he was able to win the South Korean championship with his team . At the beginning of 2012 he moved to Gamba Osaka in Japan, but could not assert himself there. After half a year he returned to South Korea, where he joined Ulsan Hyundai . In early 2013, Seongnam Ilhwa Chunma signed him before he was signed by Jeonbuk Hyundai Motors after a season . There he did not get beyond the role of the supplementary player and was rarely on the field. Nevertheless, he was able to win two championships with the team. In early 2016, he moved to Suwon FC , where he ended his career.

Lee was on various South Korean junior national teams and was in South Korea's provisional squad for the 2008 Summer Olympics in Beijing. In 2009 he took part in the Junior World Championship . On January 9, 2010, he made his debut in South Korea's senior team in a friendly against Zambia . He was part of the squad for the 2010 East Asian Cup , where he was used three times. In the summer of 2010 he was part of the squad for the 2010 World Cup , where he came to his brief assignment in the group game against Greece . On August 11, 2010, he played his last of ten international matches in a friendly against Nigeria .
