It is located in the Tecklenburger Land to the west of the village of Leeden , a district of the Tecklenburg region around 4 km to the west , and around 3.3 km north-northeast of the town center of Lengerich .
About 450 m west-northwest of the peak of a mountain passes the Federal Highway 1 , about there the ostsüdostwärts leading on the north side of the mountain Hermannsweg on the 50 m high Hermann bridge leads.
