Lehigh Valley
Lehigh Valley , also known as Allentown-Bethlehem-Easton-Metropolitan-Area , is a region in eastern Pennsylvania . It extends over Lehigh Counties and Warren Counties as well as western New Jersey .
According to the 2009 census, the Lehigh Valley is home to 806,012 people and the region and covers an area of 1,176 square kilometers. The most important cities in the region are Allentown , Nazareth and Bethlehem . The region is named after the Lehigh River .
