geography
course
The Leimbach rises in the green area of Odenthal -Blecher, north of the Leimbacher Weg . It initially flows through a green area to the southwest, its main flow direction, which it essentially maintains up to its mouth. It is lined with many trees on its banks . The small stream of wood falls to him south of Hahnenblecher . Shortly afterwards it is dammed at the Gronenbornermühle to the Gronenborn fish ponds. The Erbericher Bach reaches him a little later . At the border between Odenthal and Leverkusen , the brook now runs through a wooded area, south of Gronenborn and Boddenberg. There the Maßsiefen and the Boddenbergsiefen flow to him . At Längleimbach he strikes a hook from about 80 meters southeast, only to return to his usual direction immediately afterwards. After crossing under the Teitscheider Weg , it is fed by the Teitscheider Bach . South of Halfenleimbach it takes up the Schlinghofer Bach . It now flows on the northern edge of the wooded Leimbach Rottland . At the Höfermühle it is strengthened by the Horkenbach and shortly afterwards by the Höfer Graben . He now runs along the southern edge of Höfen. At the Glöbuscher and Benscheider meadows , it includes the Neuenhaussiefen , the Benscheider Bach and the Bergsiefen . He is now moving on the southern edge of Leimbacher Berg through a wooded area, which he leaves at the Faßbacherhof . Here it is fed by the Faßbach . Its course now leads through meadows and fields past the Leimbacher Hof . Its course is now strongly straightened. It crosses under the L 288, passes the Limbacherau and finally flows into the Dhünn in Leverkusen-Schlebusch, north of the Waldsiedlung residential area .
