Lena Biolcati

Lena Biolcati (born January 26, 1962 in Galliate ) is an Italian singer .

Career

The niece of the singer Milva won the 1984 Festival di Castrocaro competition . Even after that she was successful at festivals. She won the 1985 World Popular Song Festival in Tokyo , and the following year she won the young talent competition at the Sanremo Festival and the Un disco per l'estate competition . Her first album was released in Germany in 1986 and has her name as the title. In 1987 and 1990 she again took part in the Sanremo Festival. Her song Amori was also recorded in French by Gilbert Montagné and in Spanish by the Mexican singer Manuel Mijares.
