Lena Johannson (born October 2, 1967 in Reinbek ) is a German writer.

Life

Lena Johannson trained as a bookseller in Bad Oldesloe . She began training at a drama school, worked as an intern and assistant director at the Ohnsorg Theater in Hamburg, and went abroad for two years for a tourism company, working in Switzerland, Tunisia and Sri Lanka. Johannson worked as a travel journalist, was a freelancer for Bild am Sonntag and wrote about medical topics. In 2007 she published her first novel. Her historical novels The Marzipan Girl and The Amber Collector are set in Lübeck . The Amber Healercontinues the story of the amber collector. Many of her books have also appeared on phonograms and have also been published as e-books .
