Lena Noreses (born January 6, 1994 in Windhoek ) is a former Namibian national soccer player and sprinter . Her younger sister Vanessa Noreses is also a soccer player.

Life

Noreses grew up in Windhoek, where she attended Jan Moor Secondary School and Emma Hoogenhout Primary School. Since February 2013 she has been doing an eight-month physiotherapy internship in Wilhelmsfeld at the Football and Athletics Association Westphalia eV (FLVW).

Athletic career

Club career

Noreses played for the JS Academy before moving to Germania Hauenhorst in the German regional league in summer 2013 , where she replaced her compatriot Thomalina Adams who had migrated to VfL Bochum .

National team

Noreses has been playing for the senior national team in her home country since 2012 . In addition to Stacey Naris , Lorraine Jossob , Veweziwa Kotjipati and Thomalina Adams , who also played in Germany , Noreses took part in the 2014 African Football Championship for women in Namibia.

Athletics career

In addition to her active football career, she has been active in the athletics department of TV 1883 Schriesheim since February 2013 . Before that, she took part in various junior athletics competitions abroad a. a. in South Africa . She also represented her association Nampol Athletics Club at various sprint competitions in Namibia.
