Rolf Lennart "Tigern" Johansson (born June 7, 1941 in Sundsvall , † October 23, 2010 in Gävle ) was a Swedish ice hockey player and coach .

Career

Lennart Johansson began his career as an ice hockey player at Wifsta / Östrands IF , for whose professional team he was active from 1960 to 1962 in Division 1 , the then highest Swedish league. Then the center played for ten years for their league rivals Brynäs IF . With Brynäs he won the national championship title in 1964, 1966, 1967, 1968, 1970, 1971 and 1972 .

Johansson worked as head coach several times for his parent club Brynäs IF and was champion with this in the 1979/80 season for the eighth time in his career.

International

For Sweden Johansson took part in the 1964 Winter Olympics in Innsbruck , where he and his team won the silver medal. He himself prepared a goal in seven games during the tournament.
