Leoš Petrovský (born January 5, 1993 in Frýdek-Místek ) is a Czech handball player . He is currently under contract with the second division club TuS N-Lübbecke .

Career

society

Petrovský began his career at the age of eight in his hometown of Frýdek-Místek . Until 2012 he played at the local professional club SKP Frýdek-Místek . He then moved to Talent Pilsen , where he was two Czech champions. In 2015 he signed a contract with the Polish club KS Azoty-Puławy after completing a trial training session with Wisła Płock . For the 2017/18 season, Petrovský was signed by Bergischer HC . For the 2020/21 season he moved to TuS N-Lübbecke .

National team

Leoš Petrovský made his debut for the Czech national team on April 4, 2014 against Russia (19:22). In 2015 he took part in the World Cup in Qatar and scored ten goals.

At the European Handball Championship in 2018 , he surprisingly reached sixth place with the Czech selection.
