The country house at Leo-Tolstoi-Straße 7 is a building in Darmstadt-Eberstadt . The building, reminiscent of English cottages , is a cultural monument for architectural and city-historical reasons .
History and description
The villa was built in 1905 according to plans by the architect Georg Küchler . The two-storey brick house stands on a base made of hewn sandstone . The roof has a beaver tail covering . The two-storey round bay window is striking. The wood-shingled gable and the wrought-iron window grilles are also remarkable .
The corner plot is bordered by a mighty quarry stone wall. The historic gate has been preserved.
