Leo Soekoto
Leo Soekoto SJ (born October 23, 1920 in Jali , Indonesia , † December 30, 1995 ) was Archbishop of Jakarta .
Life
Leo Soekoto joined the Congregation of the Jesuits in and received on 22 August 1953, the sacrament of Holy Orders .
On May 21, 1970 Pope Paul VI appointed him . to the Archbishop of Jakarta. The Archbishop of Semarang , Justinus Cardinal Darmojuwono , donated him episcopal ordination on August 15 of the same year ; Co- consecrators were the Bishop of Denpasar , Paul Sani Kleden SVD , and the Archbishop Emeritus of Jakarta, Adrianus Djajasepoetra SJ.
