The Roman Catholic Diocese of Denpasar ( lat. : Dioecesis Denpasarensis ) is in Indonesia located Roman Catholic diocese , based in Denpasar .

history

The diocese Denpasar was on July 10, 1950 by Pope Pius XII. Established from cession of territory by the Vicariate Apostolic Lesser Sunda Islands as the Apostolic Prefecture of Denpasar . The Apostolic Prefecture of Denpasar was founded on January 3, 1961 by Pope John XXIII. with the Apostolic Constitution Quod Christ raised to the diocese and subordinated to the archdiocese of Ende as a suffragan .
