The diocese of Tanjung Selor ( Latin Dioecesis Tanjungselorensis , Indonesian Keuskupan Tanjung Selor ) is in Indonesia located Roman Catholic diocese based in Tanjung Selor .

history

The diocese of Tanjung Selor was established on January 9, 2002 by Pope John Paul II from cession of territory from the diocese of Samarinda and subordinated to the archdiocese of Pontianak as a suffragan diocese. First Bishop was Justin Harjosusanto MSF .

On January 29, 2003, the Tanjung Selor diocese was subordinated to the Archdiocese of Samarinda as a suffragan.
