Leocísio Júlio Sami or Leocísio Sami for short or just Sami (born December 18, 1988 in Bissau ) is a Portuguese - Guinea-Bissau football player .

Career

society

Sami learned to play football in the youth departments of clubs such as GD Estoril Praia and Benfica Lisbon . He started his professional career in 2007 at FC Eléctrico . He then played for Desportivo Aves , Marítimo Funchal and CD Fátima before moving to FC Porto in 2014 . From this club he was loaned to Sporting Braga and Vitória Guimarães in the 2014/15 season.

For the 2015/16 season Porto loaned him to the Turkish Süper Lig for Akhisar Belediyespor . In the second half of the 2016/17 season he left Akhisar prematurely and was loaned to FC Arouca for the rest of the season .

National team

Sami has played for the Guinea-Bissau national team since 2011 .
