Leon Fesser (born September 1, 1994 in Darmstadt ) is a German football player who is mainly used as a central defender.

Career

Fesser played in his youth for five different clubs Hessian before the summer of 2012 in the A-youth of TSG Hoffenheim moved. Towards the end of the season he moved up to the second team of TSG 1899 Hoffenheim , which played in the fourth-class Regionalliga Südwest . He played there for three years and made a total of 51 league appearances.

For the 2016/17 season , FC Bayern Munich signed him for his second team in the fourth-class Bayern Regional League . After missing the first two match days due to muscular problems, he made his points game debut for FC Bayern Munich II on August 12, 2016 . In the goalless league game against the second team of FC Ingolstadt 04 he was substituted on by coach Heiko Vogel in the 59th minute for Erdal Öztürk .

For the 2017/18 season he was signed by third division club SC Paderborn 07 , who provided him with a two-year contract. He played his first league game for his new club for the second team. On August 27, 2017 (3rd matchday) he was used for the entire season in the 2-3 defeat against Sportfreunde Siegen in the fifth-class Oberliga Westfalen . He made his first appearance in a competitive game for the first team on September 9, 2017 in a 3-2 win in the away game against the Würzburger Kickers with a substitution for Dennis Srbeny in the 89th minute. His second third division appearance for the first team was a few months in coming. Against Sportfreunde Lotte on January 27, 2018, he was used for the entire season and scored the final 5-0 in the 73rd minute. With the 3-0 win on April 21, 2018 (35th matchday) in the home game against SpVgg Unterhaching , the premature promotion to the 2nd Bundesliga was certain, to which he contributed in five point games and one goal.
