Leon Hammel (born April 24, 1996 in Frankfurt am Main ) is a German soccer player .
Career
After starting out as a youth at Eintracht Frankfurt , he moved to the youth department of FSV Frankfurt in summer 2012 . Since he could not prevail there, however, he was loaned to the regional division TuS Erndtebrück for the second half of the 2015/16 season. After returning to his home club, he also made his first appearance in the third division when he was in the starting line-up on matchday 32 in the 3-0 away defeat against SC Paderborn 07 . After descending the Frankfurt he moved to summer 2017 Oberliga side SC Hessen Dreieich . After playing only two games for his club, he took a one-year football break in the summer of 2018. He then signed a contract with Bundesliga club Spvgg. 03 Neu-Isenburg in summer 2019 .
