Leon Nzama-Nawezhi (born May 2, 1973 in Lubumbashi , DR Congo ) is a former Zambian professional boxer . Coming from a former Belgian colony , he originally started for Belgium , but had to look around for a new sporting home in 2003 because his license was not renewed for medical reasons. He then took the citizenship of Zambia. Nzama-Nawezhi gained brief notoriety in Germany in the spring of 2008 in the course of his fight against Marco Huck .
