Leonard Koch (born May 23, 1995 in Berlin ) is a German football player . The defensive midfielder is under contract with regional league club SV Babelsberg 03 .

Career

Leonard Koch began his career at SV Empor Berlin and joined the Hertha BSC youth team in 2007 . In 2009 he went to the C-youth of 1. FC Union Berlin . For his second team , he came on September 15, 2013 in a 1-1 home game against SV Babelsberg 03 for his first appearance in the Regionalliga Nordost . For the 2014/15 season he was a permanent member of the U23 squad. On 20 September 2014 he scored the 3: 2 win at FC Viktoria 1889 Berlin his first goal for 1: 1 equalizer in the 63rd minute.

On April 5, 2015, he was in the first team's squad for the first time in the league game against SV Sandhausen . On May 24, 2015, he made his debut in a 2-0 home game against Eintracht Braunschweig in the 2nd Bundesliga , when he came on for Sebastian Polter in the 88th minute .

For the 2016/17 season , Koch moved to the regional league club SV Babelsberg 03 .
