Leonhard Burlein (born May 12, 1837 in Engenthal ; † April 26, 1898 in Eßleben ) was a Franconian merchant .

Career

Burlein trained as a businessman in Altbessingen and was then employed as a clerk in Aschaffenburg and Marktheidenfeld . In the Lower Franconian Eßleben he ran a mixed goods business and a grain trade. As a candidate for the center , he moved into the Chamber of Deputies of the Bavarian State Parliament in the state elections in July 1887 in the constituency of Würzburg II , of which he was a member until his death in April 1898.

In addition, Burlein was a member of the Reichstag from January 1890 to June 1893 as a member of the Lower Franconia constituency 5 (Schweinfurt) .
