Leopold Bornitz
Leopold Bornitz (real name: August Leopold Bornitz ; born August 20, 1806 in Wriezen , † May 23, 1853 in Landsberg an der Warthe ) was a doctor and writer who was close to Heinrich Laube's literary circle .
Life
His father Friedrich Bornitz (1777-1853) was a doctor who was married to Johanna Katharina (née Pätsch).
Leopold Bornitz lived in Paris for a long time.
His brother Friedrich Alexander Bornitz (1809–1876) studied theology in Berlin and was pastor in Stralau and, from 1851 , parish pastor at the parish and religious church in Lichtenberg . The Bornitz Street in Wriezen was named after him, and there is in Berlin-Lichtenberg also a Bornitzstrasse .
