Les Piggot

Les Piggot (actually Leslie McDonald Piggot ; born May 11, 1942 in Glasgow ) is a former British sprinter .

At the British Commonwealth Games in Edinburgh in 1970 he was eighth over 100 meters and fourth with the Scottish team in the 4 x 100 meter relay . In 1971 he was fourth in the British 4 x 100 meter relay at the European Athletics Championships in Helsinki .

At the 1972 Olympic Games in Munich, he was eliminated over 100 m in the quarter-finals and in the 4 x 100-meter relay in the semi-finals.

In 1974 he was seventh over 100 meters at the British Commonwealth Games in Christchurch and fifth in the Scottish 4 x 100 meter relay.

He was three times Scottish champion over 100 m and once over 200 m .
